In quiet spaces
I seek not the echos of applause,
Nor the mirrored reflection of others’ approval.
I find peace in the truth of my own being,
Untraced by others eyes.

I am tethered to the inner light,
That glows unmarred by fleeting praise.
To be seen and valued, a gentle desire,
But not the cornerstone of my worth.
